My husband and I are vegan, we love to cook and are always looking to learn new techniques. We'd never taken a cooking class while travelling but decided to give it a go in Italy. Francesca and Ryan provided the perfect Rome pasta making experience. They were skilled, patient and knowledgable teachers. We definitely learned a number of tips and tricks we didn't know. And new recipes! It was the two of us and another couple learning to make fettuccine with a vegan cream sauce and a few side dishes. The whole group had a wonderful time learning to cook the Italian way while learning about each other too. After cooking, we sat down to a relaxed meal of everything we had made. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we had in Italy.
It was one of the best experiences in Rome! The class is small, and it was more than we expected, and the hosts, Francesca and Ryan were so nice and knowledgeable about the food, and it was such a delight to make our own fettuccine from scratch and eat the food with them and the guests. Both my husband and I had so much fun, although we were totally jet lagged and went with hardly any sleep! "Thank you" to Francesca and Ryan, and hope to see you, next time!
