With more than ten years’ experience in catering, from traditional Italian cuisine to fine dining, Michele is a professional pastry chef with a passion for travelling, which took him to discover the most diverse gastronomic cultures around the world. His knowledge, combined with the opportunity of exploring a wide variety of ingredients in London, allows him to host and surprise his guests with a truly experimental fusion cuisine. Michele has worked in gourmet restaurants in Italy and Australia, participated in several national and international patisserie contests and was awarded with a €3000 prize for the Eurovo 2012 Competition for his original creation ‘Revised tiramisu’. While dining in the cosy Highgate flat, the guests will have the chance to relax and socialise as well as to learn about the places and cultures that inspired Michele in conceiving and developing his recipes. I am Andrea - Michele’s brother and an art/design professional by day - and I will be joining him in welcoming guests and introducing dinners illustrating the regions and cultures where the ideas and ingredients for his recipes originate. We come from Puglia, a special region in south of Italy, which has always been and continues to be our main source of inspiration.

I had such a wonderful evening spent with Andrea, Michele & guests. The atmosphere was very relaxed, friendly - and the two hosts are both clearly so passionate about the food they’re serving. The high quality of the meal & presentation made this experience very memorable - From the delicious homemade focaccia, to the fantastical desert - which went far beyond all of our expectations - each element of the meal was created with such love and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this evening for those looking for great flavours & fantastic company.
