Scottish Lass living in London. Enjoying one of the best food city’s in the world. I quite simply LOVE food. Perhaps why I became a professional chef? I love eating, cooking and a good conversation and want to spend time with like minded folks who love food too.

Como será la experiencia en casa de Angela
Last night we went to Appetite of Destruction’s Heavy Metal Supper Club 🤘🏻 five courses of metal-themed cuisine: we started off with ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ cocktails with devilled eggs spiked with jalapeño and a vodka-infused cherry tomato Bloody Mary style shot (with alcohol-free versions of the cocktail and shot for the pregnant member of the group, which I thought was really cool). Next up was baked baby beetroot with dukka, yoghurt sauce and date purée, followed by a palate-cleansing pimms jelly shot (veggie!) as a nod to the new wave of British heavy metal. For our main course, we were treated to a Southern banquet with spicy sausage (meat for the omnis and veggie chorizo for the vegetarians, which I loved!) served with cheddar grits, crispy baked okra and a fresh tomato salad. We finished off with cherry pie, jack n coke ice cream (YES) and a frangipane crumble (I *think* this was my favourite course but it’s a close call). We stayed late, ate and drank heartily, listened to a banging playlist and were treated like rock stars who are old now and like a nice sit down. This is the perfect way for metal fans to spend an evening after a day of shopping and hanging out in Camden, especially if you’re in town for a gig and want to make a weekend of it – but it’s such great food and company, it would be a sweet alternative dining experience for anyone with a curious palate. Thank you so much @appetiteofdestruction for such an amazing night! 🖤🤘🏻
Angela and Henry were amazing welcoming hosts. They offered me sherry before the meal while waiting for the other guests to arrive and whisky after the meal as we all chatted late into the night. The food was absolutely to die for and paired perfectly with the various beers. In addition, the beer tasting was blind so you could enjoy the it without any preconceived notions about the flavor. They we very knowledgable about beers in general as well and I learned a lot. I would go back anytime!
lovely evening with fantastic food, drink and great company. i joined the dinner on my last evening of a trip to ireland, and angela put a delicious feast of traditional irish food on the table. we enjoyed amazing irish salmon, hearty and delicious irish stews, a dessert to die for, and a platter of irish cheeses washed down with different irish whiskeys. the host also made sure to accomodate the special requests of other guests (vegetarian and gluten intolerant). clearly somebody who loves to host and knows how to cook. congratulations, that was awesome. =)
We had an absolutely wonderful evening with Angela and Henry. It was well worth the money, the company was so enjoyable. Angela went above and beyond making incredible food and accomodating special food requests (celiac). Exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Made new friends who we hope to see again some day!!
