We are pioneers in the farm-to-table, ocean-to-kitchen, locavore movements. Slow Food is our world, sustainable fisheries is our life. We moved to the beach full time from downtown NYC to live a life centered around cultured, well-read outdoors family fun. Now we are back part-time in Manhattan. We get the best of all worlds, traveling around the globe, heading into NYC, enjoying a local music and poetry scene out East and simply being at peace at the beach and in the preserves surrounding our country home. It's a blessing! The East End in winter is a very special place. Have you ever seen the Montauk Lighthouse dressed up in Christmas Lights?! It's up there with my other favorites icons ... Maligne Lake in Alberta, La Catedral in Sevilla, Mullaghmore Head in Sligo, Isla Mujeres in Mexico, Charlottenberg outside Berlin, Hagia Sofia + Bosphorus, and of course La Tour Eiffel.
