When I moved from London to Barcelona I made most of my friends at dinners. Over tasty meals I learned about the local markets, specialty food shops and the best restaurants and gastronomic events. This is how I grew to love Barcelona and EatWith! I’m a self-taught cook, influenced by my Filipino background and inspired by Mediterranean flavours. I like to cook all types of food but specialise in Filipino cuisine, which many will be surprised to discover is greatly influenced by the Spanish.

Kissley was the perfect hostess and the dinner delicious! Her enthusiasm for her version of Kamayan was infectious. Though Allana is 1/2 Filipina and we were generally familiar with Filipino cuisine, this was our first time trying Kamayan (and EatWith) and we were very happy with the entire experience! Kissley made us feel at home from the start and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes, her special sauces, the unique table set-up, and the conversation! It felt much more like a dinner with friends than a paid meal. We look forward to Kissley's future events and keeping in touch!
The food was gorgeous and varied. We enjoyed the flavors and the back stories about what we were eating. The lack of utensils made for a brief awkward moment but Kissley set it up such that couples shared the same food making that moment fleeting. We truly enjoyed ourselves and left nearly 4 hours later full and happy.
