Como será la experiencia en casa de Philippe & Dzianis
Philippe & Dzianis - perfect hosts and from "Hello" made all guest feel welcomed in their home. Good conversation, fresh food, wine flowed and homemade chocolate dessert...could not have been a better Friday night dinner and it was a great first time experience using Eatwith. (CB)
I chose Philippe & Dzianis because they had so many five star reviews and because the atmosphere looked perfect for our last night in Paris. This was my third Eatwith in Paris and it was just as wonderful as the others. I had my children with me for my second week in Paris, a nine year old and a nineteen year old. Philippe & Dzianis were perfect with them. From the moment they welcomed us to their home, they made us feel like old friends visiting. The food was delicious and the kids enjoyed making it themselves. The conversation was fun. It was my daughter's birthday, they even bought her a chocolate bunny and Eiffel tower and gave it to her as we sang happy birthday over a cupcake and candle. PERFECTION. Can't say enough good. The only thing I would have changed is I wish we had started our time in Paris with this dinner rather than ended with it. I left with tips that woud have had us eating fresher baguettes all vacation. For me, Eatwith is about meeting locals as well as travelers from around the world. It's about getting away from the tourist areas and stepping into the local culture. I lived in Paris for a while back in college and one of my favorite memories from back then was cooking meat on a hotplate with sauces while drinking wine and talking. Thank you Philippe & Dzianis for letting me relive that time. . .and share it with my family. We all left smiling. Hell, my husband says if they ever come to Boston they should look us up so we can show them around. If you're looking for a relaxed, casual meal with friends wholeheartedly recommend this one!
