I started cooking lessons 7 years ago. The experience of teaching and hosting new people at home is really fun! I also have students coming every week for cooking lessons. Having grown up in northern Tuscany, spent several years in Milan and then Matera in the south of Italy, and now living in Rome, I have a broad knowledge of the country’s many and varied wonderful dishes. I started cooking when I was little with my parents, both great cooks! I worked in Tuscany in Lucca, I cooked for events in amazing villas.

Como será la experiencia en casa de Sandra
We had a fabuloso experience with Sandra. Since it was off season for tourists, we were fortunate to have a private lesson with Sandra. This was our first EatWith booking and we loved our evening. We made two types of pasta along with homemade tiramisu. It was a very comfortable setting in Sandra’s kitchen and she gave us hands on guidance to made the pasta and dessert. We learned about living in Rome, from a local perspective, as well as the origin of the regional food we were making. We shared a wonderful meal together and felt that we left a friend’s home by the end of the evening. This was a very remorable evening in our stay in Rome and highly recommend Sandra as a hostess and teacher.
It was a magical fun night. A highlight of our trip for our entire family. Our cooking class with Sandra was everything I had hoped for and more. She was a wonderful host, lived in a fun flat, and she really made us feel at home. She was great with my teen and College age kids and even sent an email the next day with suggestions on things she thought we might want to see. I feel we gained a new friend in Rome. Her instructions for cooking were very helpful and she sent all the recipes afterwards so we can try them at home. I don't even want to think about how many raviolis we ate that night. They were the best I have ever had. And I don't think I will ever have another Tiramisu as rich and tasty and the one we made at Sandra's. Honestly say Si, Si, Si (as I heard many Italians say on our trip) to taking a cooking class with Sandra. I sure wish I could take another one.
We really enjoyed our dinner with Sandra. She is an excellent teacher, is charming and funny and has passion for her kitchen. The 3 hours went by quickly. The menu was excellent, and she was so helpful in making sure that we had a great experience. We would highly recommend her
