What you'll need


• 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cubed
• 2 quarts chicken broth
• 5 eggs
• 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 2 teaspoons black pepper (more for garnish)
• 1/2 cup rice (long or short grain) or orzo pasta
• 1 tablespoon flour

Kitchen Tools

• mixing bowl
• 6-8 quart pot
• wooden spoon or spatula
• blender (recommended), hand mixer, or whisk
• measuring cups and spoons
• smaller bowls to hold portioned out ingredients


• cube chicken thighs
• break 5 eggs into a bowl
• portion out and organize the rest of the ingredients

I've always loved Greek food so was super excited to see this Greek themed online cooking experience on Eatwith! Host Christina taught us how to make one of her family signature recipes which was amazing! A fun, interactive cooking class for Greek food lovers!

Chef Christina made a really yummy meal, and served up sweet, sincere stories to go along with each course. She and her husband were warm and entertaining hosts who even surprised us with a little live opera performance by a friend. You could feel her genuine joy in cooking and entertaining.

Christina is a WONDERFUL chef and created a lovely evening for us and for the important and pressing cause of homelessness. She welcomed my guest and I enthusiastically into her home, eager to pour us each a Greek cocktail with flavors of autumn, apple cider, and cinnamon. She had an exquisite spread of crudités with various Greek dips, cheeses, olives, and her scrumptious spanakopita. Dinner was exquisite and consisted of tender lamb slow cooked in a traditional clay pot from the Greek island of Sifnos with a side medley of perfectly roasted root vegetables along with traditional Greek wines. Dessert, a honey and cheese pie topped with thyme, honey from Greece, pomegranates and pistachios was absolutely delicious, so much in fact that I had to have seconds! The atmosphere she created outdoors was cozy and transportive...I felt like I was back in Greece, if only for a moment.
