I am The Innkeeper's Daughter, and I'm a dual citizen born into the hotel business, Eloise at the Plaza! ...and I never left the business. Raised in a French Chef's kitchen, with a Maman who was a better cook, it was inevitable one of us would carry on. C'est Moi! My sister, Jacqueline has been known to burn water, repeatedly. My favorite pass time is playing host. I love nothing more than to meet new people around my dining room table in a relaxed and easy atmosphere. Most of my meals are served family style. Traditional and authentic to my roots, not too fussy or formal, but with fun surprises. Join me in my brand new...very old Baltimore Row House for an evening of fun and food in Baltimore's historic Reservoir Hill neighborhood.

Omg!! One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The flavors of the broth and the fish just melted in your mouth. Yolande’s house is absolutely warm and inviting. What a way to meet new people!!! Yolande is a fabulous hostess!! I can’t wait for more events at her house!!! Just an incredible experience!!!!

Yolande's house is comfortable, warm, and attractive. Her table was set beautifully. The cheese and crackers were delicious as well as the welcoming drink options. Wine flowed plentifully all evening. And then there's the bouillabaisse! It was wonderful--delicious broth, great array of shellfish as well as other fish, nicely served. The bread was great; ditto the butter. A really lovely evening. I think we're going to have to check out one of her brunches!

Great night of amazing food and drinks with a diverse table. Yolande is an amazing host, offering special cocktails and wines to match the apps, courses and dessert, happily explaining their origin, relevance and other anecdotal details. An amazing kitchen in the center of her first floor allows her to float from the bar to serve and refresh beverages between putting finishing touches on each course as guests mingle on the front or back porch, parlor or dining room. The decor throughout is authentic to her roots and fantastic for a Francophile like myself. I'll need another several pages to describe all the food, drink and presentation, it was beyond what I imagined, I'd have paid twice the amount, even more for the quality and level of food and beverages, including champagne with dessert (it was a birthday celebration). Seriously, if you can, go!
