This French dinner is an ode to the seasons: everything is market-fresh, perfectly ripe and served in beautiful china tableware. The ultimate seasonal dinner in an elegant Montmartre home.

• 4-course dinner featuring classic French dishes, cheeses and desserts
• The host's typically Parisian apartment has a fireplace for cold winter evenings
• Communal dining for 2 to 6 people

About your host Claudine: ""I've been living in Montmartre for 40 years and I'm in love with this part of Paris. I love entertaining, cooking, and offering my guests seasonal dishes. I never cook tomatoes in winter or strawberry tart at any other time than late spring when they're ripe, juicy and fragrant."

Starting with apéritif and appetizers... cheese puffs and taramasolata verrines...
Potimarron velouté or Winter salad of seasonal vegetables and smoked duck breasts
Oven baked cod fillets topped with creamy sauce seasoned with Roellinger's spices along with céleri root puree and Nerone rice
Cheese... Comté, Roquefort, Camembert or Valençay goat cheese
My "decadent" chocolate fondant along with ovenbaked figs topped with Roellinger's "poudre défendue"...

We had a fantastic evening with Claudine! There were three of us and one additional guest. Claudine is charming and a wonderful hostess, very interesting and informative about all things French, travel.... The flat is in a beautiful neighborhood, very traditional and beautifully decorated. Claudine's meal was delicious from the starters and champagne to the colorful salad, perfectly cooked fish, thoughtfully chosen cheese platter to the homemade chocolate cake. We truly enjoyed our evening and hope to keep in touch with Claudine for future visits and perhaps her secret tour of Monmartre.
